“My phone, I can’t find my phone” Jennifer lamented as she checked the small bag she was carrying
“Where the hell did you put it” Muna said, she was already getting pissed at the thought of been delayed from leaving where they were
“I must have left it on the table, oh my God Muna I need to go check it, wait for me”
“You know I hate stuff like this, how could you forget your phone” Muna complained as Jennifer hurriedly left to get her phone “This girl is such a forgetful bitch, who knows how long I’m going to have to wait…….urrrrrgh” she hissed
Muna got closed to the back of a car and leaned on it, the surrounding was quiet, the weather was chilled and been in a stable position made her feel cold, she grabbed her bag and brought out a stick of already mold weed, lit it up and puffed out smoke from her nostrils, she got tired of standing so she jumped on top of the car with the smoke still in her hands after a few puffs she heard a voice behind her.
“Don’t you think it’s wrong for you to smoke on someone’s car”
She turned round to look at the person who spoke
“And how is that any of you business” she told him and he smiled and moved closer to her
“What do you enjoy in taking this?, haven’t you heard it’s dangerous to the health”
Muna stretched the weed to him “Take it, have some, you’d get the answer to your crazy question”
“I don’t smoke”
“Then leave me the hell alone” she screamed at him
“Take it easy lady, you are actually sitting on my car”
“Fine, you should have told me you wanted me to get down……..I will okay”
“Hey come on, I’m not asking you to leave, I should actually be the one vexing here”
“What do you want, because I honestly don’t like someone disturbing my peace”
“Let me start by letting you know that my name is Khalid”
“So?”
“So, What’s yours” He asked but Muna refused to respond, she stared at him looking so disturbed “Okay, you know, I actually watched you and your friend have fun in there at the lounge and I think I might have something for you”
“Something like what?”
“Give me a moment” He went into his car to get his card, came back to where she stood and handed over the card to her “Take this, I want you to get in touch with me……Have it, come on” Reluctantly Muna collected it from him, she looked through it
“You are a photographer” She asked him
“Yes I am, and I want to work with you that’s if you don’t mind”
“So you want me to model for you”
“Something like that”
“Are you going to pay me?”
“Ye…..s, we just have to talk about that”
“Fine, I’ll talk to my friend about it”
“No….no, not your friend, just you”
“Why just me, I thought you said you watched my friend and I in there”
“Well your friend doesn’t have what I’m looking for, you do, so working with you alone will do just fine……Now don’t look at me that way… I’m not evil, I’m just a photographer” He said with a cute smile
“I’ll have to think about it”
“That’s fine, so just give me a call when you are done thinking okay”
“Okay”
“By the way, where’s your friend?”
“She went……” Muna noticed jennifer coming already “She is right behind you”
Khalid turned round to check and he saw her “Alright then” he said, “Can you at least tell me your name”
“It’s Muna”
“Muna is such a beautiful name I must say, make sure you think about it asap and give me a call… okay, bye”
Before Khalid could enter his car, Jennifer was already close, he said a casual hello, Jennifer responded in a simple way and walked pass him.
“Who was that?” she asked Muna curiously
“I don’t know him”
“Liar, I saw him talk to you”
“It’s not important, did you see the phone?”
“You are trying to dodge my question, anyway, yes I saw the phone”
“Good, let’s leave here, I’m tired and sleepy”
“Ask your friend if he can give us a ride now”
“I just told you he was someone I don’t know” Muna dragged Jennifer away from where they were at the same time argued on their way.

MUNA was an energetic young lady, she and Jennifer has been friends for quite some time, they both hustled in whatever way they could in other to earn a living. Muna met Jennifer who was friendly to her, she accommodated her and introduced her at the supermarket she worked, so Muna could work there also, alongside they hustled some other way so she could take better care of herself and send money for the upkeep of her daughter and family. One could say that Muna was a girl thriving to survive the hardship life throws at her.
